Michael Takayama

It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you of the passing of our beloved friend and colleague, Michael Takayama, on June 21, 2016, of an unexpected heart attack.

Michael was such an extraordinary person who was highly regarded by everyone. He always had a smile on his face, and most would say it was contagious. His attributes were many: he was kind, honest, generous, humble, and admired by all.

This is truly a great loss to Paragon Financial Services and our community as a whole. Michael will be profoundly missed by everyone whose life he touched, which were many. We feel fortunate for the opportunity that we’ve had to be a part of Michael’s Paragon family. We will always hold on to those memories and remember him with a smile on our face. The links below are some highlights of Michael’s many accomplishments.

A private funeral (due to space limitations) for family and close friends is scheduled for 11 AM on July 8th at the Placer Buddhist Church with a reception to follow. On Saturday, July 9th at 11 AM, all are welcomed to join the Celebration of Life at Adventure Church, 6401 Stanford Ranch Rd., Roseville, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Michael "Tako" Takayama Memorial Scholarship Fund. Checks can be written to Del Oro High School, 3301 Taylor Rd., Loomis, CA 95650.
